Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Cost to register for an exhibitor table?

It costs $40.00 to register a table. We are currently trying to sort out method of payment as we have the same issues we had last year and had to forgive all fees.

What is included in my registration fee?

Everyone registered will receive a table, two chairs, a table linen and lunch will be provided. If you require anything additionally, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

This is an outdoor event outside of City Hall.

If the weather is poor, is there a rain date?

There is no rain date. In the event of an event cancellation, we will try to arrange for an indoor event on December 3rd, but this is not assured.

I want to volunteer, but I would like to know what I will be doing and if my disability can be accommodated?

We are looking for volunteers of all abilities. Some positions are physical but many only require table sitting. Some involve social engagement, but we have positions that only need to be monitored. We will do our best to make this an inclusive and rewarding experience for everyone.

Accessibility Statement

The ACPD commits to providing the most accessible website we can. We would ensure AA compliance, but software and technology are changing too rapidly to keep ahead of. We have provided a simplified interface that is well spaced and designed to not overwhelm with vibrant colours and imagery. We have done our best to comply with all WCAG 2.2 requirements and EN 301 549 Function Statements as well as City of Hamilton publishing guidelines, but cannot guarantee full accessibility. Instead we commit to creating the most accessible and welcoming space we are capable of with our current abilities. If you have found an area that needs attention, please let us know and we will do our best to rectify the issue. Nothing about us without us!
